On March 11, 2011 Apple released iOS 4.3 along with their launch of the new iPad 2. Only 14 days later a new update is available with today’s release of iOS 4.3.1.
This most recent software update is for the iPad, iPad 2, 3rd and 4th generation iPod Touch owners, iPhone 3GS as well as the iPhone 4.
Although no major bug fixes are included with iOS 4.3.1, a few minor issues have been resolved for customers. Apple also claims to have resolved the jailbreak vulnerability issue which was found in the previous iOS update.
Some of the minor fixes in iOS 4.3.1 include:
- iPod touch (4th generation) occasional graphics glitch fixed
- Certain cellular network activation and connection issues fixed
- Fixes for flickering images with some TVs using Apple Digital AV Adapter
