Since the release of the iPad, more and more people have been going gaga over it. If you have not yet been able to put your hands on one, you are certainly missing out on something big. The iPad 2 has some noticeable great improvements than the older model too. If you are an iPad user, here are some helpful tips to organize your device.
iPad how to- organize your apps:
If you own an iPad, 1 or 2, especially the 64 gig ones, then you may know how cluttered a thousand apps can become. If you are desperately looking for a solution, here it is. The iOS four actually gives you the option now to organize your icons into a folder. This is good especially if you love downloading applications or own so many of them. You can limit the number of the pages in your device to make it easier to navigate through.
This feature will also let you be able to find each app faster than before by the help of labels on the folder icon. When you put two apps together, the device will name your folder in accordance to the types of apps you are trying to contain together. Say you tried to put “instagram” and “camerawow” in the same folder, your iPad will automatically name the folder “Photography”. Very convenient, right?
The default folder names are the following: Games (for all games), Utilities (for system tools like calculator & voice recorder), Social (for social networking applications like Facebook & twitter), Health (health apps like pink pad and life coach), Photography (for camera apps), & Lifestyle (for apps like tarot and horoscope). If the device is not able to recognize the applications, it will just name it “Folder”.
iPad how to – create folders:
Creating folders is really easy with iPad, in fact many of you might have already figured out without help from any iPad how to. Still, to those who do not know, here’s how. First, set your iPad screen to editing mode. Touch one app continuously until all icons start wiggling or trembling.
After that, drag one application icon that you want towards the other application that you want it to be with. Put the icon exactly on the top of the other slowly and then it will automatically open a new folder. There you go, as easy as that. You have organized your iPad. You can easily rename the folder from there too. Enjoy!

Is there a way to set the ipad to automatically create folders and dump the apps directly into a predefined Apple folder? Or, must you manually move the apps into a folder you create?
